565 – Sad News, and Thanksgiving

Well, 2 Saturdays ago (November 10th), my mother in law (Mary) passed away. She had been ill for quite some time, and passed peacefully in the arms of my wife, my wife’s brother, and her brother.

She wasn’t the typical mother in law, she was a sweetheart that’d give you the shirt off her back if need be. Mary always thoughtful of her children, and grand children. She was a lover of Bingo, and often had a dirty joke to tell me (usually from her girlfriends at Bingo). Her husband had passed away over 20 years ago, and my wife took her everywhere. Doctors, church, grocery shopping, bingo.. etc. She never learned to drive.

She will be greatly missed.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and I’m sure my wife will be thinking of her I’m sure, as will we all.
