509 – Rant Day
So, here’s a few things I wanted to rant about:
Kate Gosselin is freaking out not knowing how she’ll support her kids now that her show’s been cancelled (Kate Plus 8). Um, how about GET A REAL JOB!
IMHO, the woman’s nothing but a publicity whore, and needs her kids to grow up not on camera, in a normal life. (did I mention, get a job?)
Stop with all the reality shows. They’re getting quite embarrassing now.
Allow Clergy, and first responders to the 9/11 event this weekend. After all, who deserves to be there more than the first responders who lay (laid) it all on the line. (Funny, they were invited on 9/11/2001)
Save money by ending Saturday US Postal Service Deliveries.
/End Rant
Well, after 5 days of rain here, the rivers are flooding our towns once more. Now, for the next 3 days, we’ll have sunshine to hopefully allow it all to settle down again. I wish we could send some of our water to Texas that needs it so badly.
On to something funny:
Entertainment at the Senior Center
It was entertainment night at the senior center and the Amazing Claude was topping the bill. People came from miles around to see the famed hypnotist do his stuff. As Claude went to the front of the meeting room, he announced, "Unlike most hypnotists who invite two or three people up here to be put into a trance, I intend to hypnotize each and every member of the audience."
The excitement was almost electric as Claude withdrew a beautiful antique pocket watch from his coat. "I want you each to keep your eye on this antique watch. It's a very special watch. It's been in my family for six generations."
He began to swing the watch gently back and forth while quietly chanting, "Watch the watch, watch the watch, watch the watch..."
The crowd became mesmerized as the watch swayed back and forth, light gleaming off its polished surface. Hundreds of pairs of eyes followed the swaying watch, until, suddenly, it slipped from the hypnotist's fingers and fell to the floor, breaking into a hundred pieces.
"SHIT!", said the Hypnotist.
It took three days to clean up the senior center
Have a wonderful weekend all!

I had never heard that funny before!
re:rants
I remember when the TV writers were on strike that we were told that we'd get a steady dose of Reality TV. Boy, was that an understatement! I can't bear to watch any of the stuff now -- er, except Storage Wars.
Hey, the domain therantchannel.com is available! Wanna collaborate for our sanity's sake?
*ROTFL* We should, huh!!!
Also, check out "Carfellas", it's absolutely HILARIOUS!
Carfellas ... an ex-con used car salesman ... I mean, what other vocation would more positively indicate, "I am reformed", than used car sales? :)
Kent, it's hilarious. You have to see a whole show to believe it... though, it won't appeal to most women for sure.
Ohhh, don't get me started on the so-called "reality" shows. I've had my fill since the first one, first episode and decided what was shineola. Such complete shit and it shows American's have a very low IQ and don't care about how idiotic the shows make us look. It's down right embarrassing@
