410 – TGIF, and 14 Days till Vacation

It’s been a tough week, but thank goodness it’s Friday. Tomorrow I’m going to go try to find some firewood for my wood stove with my son (if he wakes up in time).

Other than that, no big plans for this weekend.

To answer you Mike, from your post in the comments from Wednesday, no, I’ll never turn to the dark side (Mac). I have a friend tell me this week that “now I’m a Mac user”, but I promptly denied that as the iPad isn’t a Mac, nor does it run the Mac O/S. So, I’m safe. At least for today.

A friend of mine found a great utility that I now use, called Evernote. It’s great for keeping track of notes, memos, patches and fixes of things you do. It syncs from your PC to an online account, and even to my iPad. Mark, you should look into it.. it’s a great tool for “techies”.

Mom’s doing well, and we’re all hoping she goes home around Thanksgiving.

COP vs. LITTLE GIRL

A cop was on his horse waiting to cross the street, when a little girl on her new
shiny bike stopped beside him.
'Nice bike,' the cop said. 'Did Santa bring it to you?'
'Yes Sir,' the little girl said, 'he sure did!'
The cop looked the bike over and handed the girl a $5 ticket for a safety violation.
The cop said, 'Next year, tell Santa to put a reflector light on the back of it!'
The young girl looked up at the cop and said, 'Nice horse you've got there Sir. Did
Santa bring it to you?'
Playing along with the girl, he chuckled and answered, 'Yes, he sure did!'
The little girl looked up at the cop and said, 'Next year tell Santa... the dick
goes underneath the horse, not on top.'
