140 - No News Yet
Nope, she hasn't heard from the doctor yet, so we wait. I don't want to speculate, and I'd rather save my typing about it for when I have news.
Other than that, it's been a very busy week. My wife and I are working hard on getting ready for the Wine Tasting we're Co-Hosting down near the shore on Sunday. We're making a main dish called "Roast Pork Loin with Braised Apples and Cabbage". I hope it comes out as good as it sounds! We've got the wines all picked out and bought, Oktoberfest beers, and all kinds of snacks. It should be a good time.
44 Days till Vacation, and our friend Mike from Alabama that we're going with found a great place to go on the day we're in Honduras.
This is a great resort we're planning on visiting for some great swimming and snorkling.
It should be a great time.. I'm so looking forward to going on our cruise.
On to a funny before slipping out:
The Cabbie
A cabbie picks up a Nun. She gets into the cab, and notices that the VERY handsome cab driver won't stop staring at her.
She asks him why he is staring. He replies: 'I have a question to ask, but I don't want to offend you.'
She answers, ' My son, you cannot offend me. When you're as old as I am and have been a nun as long as I have, you get a chance to see and hear just about everything. I'm sure that there's nothing you could say or ask that I would find offensive.'
'Well, I've always had a fantasy to have a nun kiss me.'
She responds, 'Well, let's see what we can do about that: #1, you have to be single and #2, you must be Catholic.'
The cab driver is very excited and says, 'Yes, I'm single and Catholic!'
'OK' the nun says. 'Pull into the next alley.'
The nun fulfills his fantasy with a kiss that would make a hooker blush.
But when they get back on the road, the cab driver starts crying.
'My dear child,' said the nun, 'Why are you crying?'
'Forgive me but I've sinned. I lied and I must confess; I'm married and I'm Jewish.'
The nun says, 'That's OK. My name is Kevin and I'm going to a Halloween party.'
Have a great weekend all!

Hi Dave ~~ The waiting is the worst part isn't it? I hope your MIL soon hears and that the news will be as good as possible. Prayers continue for all of you. Have seen the joke before, but a good one. Take care, Regards, Merle.
